Social Marketing Manager

Job Description:

Ripple6 is looking for a Social Marketing Manager to drive social marketing initiatives for multiple client engagements. 

The Social Marketing Manager works closely with Ripple6 clients (and their agencies) to define, plan, deliver, and report on social marketing initiatives utilizing Ripple6’s products and services.  As an expert in both Social Marketing and Ripple6 products & services, the Social Marketing Manager will also participate in the sales & pitch process to support the acquisition of new business and engagement renewals. 

The successful Social Marketing Manager will have:

  • A strong comprehension of marketing, advertising, and digital media fundamentals
  • Passion for social media, online communities, and emerging marketing/technology trends
  • Ability to understand and communicate technology based products & services
  • Experience in developing and delivering social media campaigns
  • Prior digital agency experience is a plus

Compensation will be commensurate with level of experience.


  • Work directly with Ripple6 clients and client agencies to understand the Brand’s  social marketing goals, assess existing social marketing strategies, and propose new social marketing initiatives
  • Plan, execute, manage, and report on social marketing initiatives for assigned clients
  • Work collaboratively across a cross-functional set of groups (Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Engagement Services, Project Management) to properly articulate and deliver the Ripple6 value proposition


  • Demonstrated passion for Social Media, trends, technologies, and developments
  • Prior experience delivering social media campaigns (WOM, Advocacy/Loyalty, Community Sponsorships, etc)
  • Exemplary organizational, communications & presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast moving, entrepreneurial and collaborative working environment
  • Ability to balance multiple concurrent projects and initiatives
  • Ability to travel domestically for prospect & client proposals (less than 10% travel)
  • BA/BS degree (MBA a plus)

Technical Team Lead / Senior Developer

Job Description:

The Services Development team is looking for an experienced senior developer to lead a team of developers in architecting, building, and extending an industry-leading social media platform solution. The Senior Developer will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of large scale, high-traffic consumer facing websites in an ASP.NET / C# / SQL Server development environment. We are looking for someone who to help lead our highly collaborative environment as a goal-oriented, team player and who demonstrates the motivation for continuous learning.


  • Lead a team of developers in designing and developing the platform and clients solutions.
  • Ability to understand concepts, design ideas and turn them around as proof of concepts and design patterns.
  • Design, develop and implement complex high-traffic consumer facing websites in ASP.NET, C#, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX and related UI frameworks
  • Provide leadership and hands-on development on the project team to ensure the implementation is consistent across all application components
  • Prepare related technical documentation
  • Lead team code reviews
  • Interface with project/program managers, Senior Architects, CTO, and QA analysts

Skills & Requirements:

  • 7+ years of development experience with 3+ years in a senior technical leadership role
  • Experience Leading a Development team including Design, Development, Delegating, Mentoring in a product development environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, MS SQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, and XML
  • Alternatively, knowledge of Java, JSP, Spring, Hibernate, PostgresQL, MySQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, and XML, Solr/Lucene
  • Experience with MVC frameworks – MS MVC, Monorail, Spring MVC, or other
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL Server, with good T-SQL/programming skills
  • Experience with Adobe FLEX, Hibernate a plus
  • Experience with Load Testing tools such as RadView WebLOAD a plus
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team is essential
  • Must be proficient in Object Oriented Design and Programming
  • Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Demonstrated web development experience for high-traffic websites, e-commerce services, or relevant consumer software applications
  • Ability to facilitate technical design discussions
  • Is well versed in relevant methodology, processes, tools and technology standards and can effectively chose relevant parts needed for the platform
